STUDIO
Where craftsmanship meets clarity
Our work is elegant and balanced, with crossovers between traditional, modern, and natural qualities. A fusion of Arts and Crafts sensibilities with the International Style and mid-century Danish influences.
Our designs channel hand-made and natural elements; elegant, fine furniture with a relaxed contemporary feel, a world away from mass-production. The designs reflect our ethics and ethos, our intention being to bring the outdoors inside, like beautifully arranged wildflowers.
Proudly crafted by hand, each design reveals the character of its making while reflecting an uncompromising pursuit of perfection within the traditions of artisanal craftsmanship.
Our clients are looking for functional, unique, elegant, and timeless pieces to elevate their interior design schemes. We provide unique items that subtly convey statement and collectability.
We love working together and have a shared aesthetic vision, borne from over 30 years of friendship, as well as a shared respect and love of process and materials.
Process
Each piece we make is singular, as is the design and vision.
Our practice is founded on time, contemplation, and an uncompromising commitment to materials and craftsmanship. As such, it does not lend itself to mass production.
Each piece is made entirely within the studio, beginning with raw materials: a lump of clay, a bespoke glaze, or timber felled, seasoned, and sourced within a few miles of the workshop. From earth and wood, we create objects of enduring beauty.

The materials and techniques that define our work are: hand-crafted, locally sourced, sgraffito carving, intricate design, and time.
Our materials include indigenous hardwoods, high fired stoneware clay, oxide-stained slip, satin, semi-opaque or transparent Chun glaze, brass, and stainless steel
