McClafferty & Cook welcome enquiries for their collection of portfolio pieces as well as one-off commissions.

Designer-maker Gavin McClafferty and ceramic artist Jonquil Cook have teamed up to create a new collection of freestanding solid wood furniture featuring ceramic and metal elements. Employing a combination of modern and traditional techniques the pair are committed to design and hand production of ranges that are both stylish and practical.

McClafferty’s years of experience in cabinet making has resulted in authentic and captivating pieces made to fit seamlessly into contemporary and classic interior design schemes.

Cook’s made to measure tiles, decorated with hand-carved sgraffito motifs inspired by the natural environment, complement and complete the furniture, where considerations of form and fabric recall the anti mass production movement and an appreciation of fine craftsmanship.
